Nowadays we live in a digital era, there are businesses completely
digital technologies, there are new patented technologies on a scale never seen before,
the biggest companies and brands in the world are in the technology sector, events
that attract more people are technological events, programs such as
Portugal 2020 injects millions of euros into digital and technological development
of the economy, the media is full of news about
technology, in the health sector doctors register new diseases and
dependencies on technology, psychologists and sociologists raise questions
about the “digital self” and about the repercussions on society that social networks
bring and the list is endless.
For any marketing specialist, it is inevitable to combine marketing with new
technologies and the digital world, and that is what this study aims to do.
“The impact of digital marketing when correctly applied is greater and behind
more benefits to companies, with significantly lower costs, in
comparison to traditional marketing theories” (H0).
Digital Marketing is very important not only for digital companies but also for physical companies.
